Terms of Use

Last updated: 6 August 2026

Data Stables B.V., Bierstraat 123c, 3011 XA Rotterdam, Netherlands. Contact: reinier@data-stables.nl.

Scope

These terms apply to your use of this website. By visiting or using data-stables.nl you accept them. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

This website is an information and marketing site. It has no user accounts, no sign-up and no purchases, and nothing on it is an offer that you can accept to form a contract. These terms are not a services agreement. Work performed by Data Stables B.V. for a client is governed exclusively by the separate written agreement covering that engagement; where that agreement and these terms differ, that agreement prevails for the work.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, images, logos, the Data Stables name and mark, layout, and the underlying code — belongs to Data Stables B.V. or to the parties that licensed it to us. You may read the site, print pages for your own use, and share links to it. You may not copy, republish, redistribute, or use the content commercially, or use our name or mark, without our prior written permission. Short quotations with a clear source attribution and a link are fine.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site in breach of any law, or to infringe anyone's rights;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting, or any connected system;
  • interfere with the site's availability, for example by overloading it or by deploying malware;
  • scrape or harvest content at a scale that burdens the service, or extract data for the purpose of re-publishing it;
  • misrepresent yourself as us, or as associated with us.

We may block access if you do any of this.

No warranty, no reliance

We write the content of this site with care, but we provide it "as is" and without any warranty. We do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate, or current, or that the site will be available without interruption or free of errors.

Nothing on this site is professional, legal, financial or technical advice for your situation, and nothing on it should be relied on as such. Descriptions of our services and our way of working are indicative; the scope, deliverables and pricing of an actual engagement are set out only in a signed agreement. If you plan to act on something you read here, contact us first at reinier@data-stables.nl.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Data Stables B.V. is not liable for any damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website — including indirect or consequential damage, lost profit, lost data, or damage resulting from your reliance on its content. Our liability is in any case limited to direct damage and to an amount of EUR 1,000 per event.

These limits do not apply where the damage is caused by our intent or deliberate recklessness, nor where the law does not allow them to be limited.

Links to third-party sites

This site links to websites we do not operate. Those links are offered for convenience only. We do not control those sites, we do not endorse their content by linking to them, and we are not responsible for them or for their privacy practices. Their own terms and policies apply when you go there.

Privacy and cookies

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy, and what is stored in your browser is described in our cookie policy.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version published on this page at the moment you use the site is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it was last changed. Check back if it matters to you.

Applicable law and forum

Dutch law applies to these terms and to any dispute about them or about the use of this website. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, unless a mandatory rule of law designates another court.

Invalid provisions

If any part of these terms turns out to be void or unenforceable, the remainder stays in force, and the void part is replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to its intent.
